Frequently asked questions

The questions we're asked most often, with simple, honest answers.

How much does a quote cost?
A quote is always free and comes with no obligation. We come to your property to assess it before giving you a clear price — you have nothing to pay just to find out where you stand.
How long before I can get an appointment?
We respond to requests as quickly as possible. The exact timeline can vary depending on the time of year, but we keep you informed from the very first contact.
Do I need to be home during the work?
Not necessarily. We can work around your schedule and preferences — many clients let us work while they're away, with full confidence.
What if I'm not happy with the result?
Just let us know. We'd rather work things out together than leave a situation unresolved — the conversation stays open even after the work is done.
Which areas do you serve?
Ottawa, Gatineau and the surrounding area, including Kanata, Nepean and Orléans. Not sure your address is covered? Call us and we'll confirm quickly.
Do you offer regular maintenance plans?
Yes, it's an option we can discuss together based on your needs and whichever frequency works best for you.
Do you work year-round?
Yes — mowing, landscaping and outdoor maintenance during the warmer months, snow removal during the winter.
How can I ask a question before using your services?
By phone at 819 665-8202 or by email at artsdupaysage@gmail.com. We're happy to answer, with no obligation on your part.

What a typical project looks like

An example of the kind of situation we often run into, to give you an idea of how things unfold.

Our approach

A client contacts us in the spring about a hedge that hasn't been trimmed. We come by to assess the situation and talk it through before starting anything. In a single visit, the hedge gets its clean, even shape back, and the debris is cleared away before we leave — the client can enjoy their yard as soon as the following weekend.

Did you know?

A few notions that guide how we take care of your property.

Cedar hedges are best trimmed before midsummer, to avoid stressing the plant just before winter.

A lawn mowed too short dries out faster and becomes more vulnerable to weeds — cutting a little higher encourages stronger roots.

A well-laid interlocking paver surface sits on a compacted gravel base — it's this invisible base that keeps it from shifting with the freeze-thaw cycle.

Blocked gutters can cause water to overflow near your foundation — one of the most common causes of basement water infiltration.

Salt used for snow removal can damage flower beds near driveways — there are gentler options available to protect your landscaping.
